Your subscription affords you a number of credits each month, which are then consumed by Aimée in order to process content. For example making images transparent, writing ad copy, extracting great quotes from reviews or rendering ad templates into images all consume credits.

On the Billing page there's a graph showing how many credits has been used for various things.

If you run out of credits you'll get a notification in the app that lets you know that new content will no longer be processed. This means that new products that come into the catalog will not have their images and text processed, nor will ad templates render into image links and channels.

As long as you have an active subscription however your channels will still continue to update, which means that price and stock availability will be kept up to date. Running out of credits only means that new products and modified ad template will not be rolled out to your channel.

If you run out of credits you can choose to upgrade to a larger plan, which immediately gives you more credits so that your content and products can process, or wait until the next month.

Prompts

Depends on the size of the prompt, the input text and which model is being used.

You can use the Preview and Generate function in the prompt workbench to see how many credits a particular prompt will consume.

For example the credits used by prompts may range from ~5 to 50 or more per 1000 products, depending on the model used.

When Aimée writes copy, headlines, RTB's and similar using prompts.

When are credits consumed?

When product information, images, templates or prompts change Aimée will need to reprocess the affected content. For example

  • When new products are added to the catalog these will be processed.

  • When new images are added to existing products.

  • When template are modified in any way.

  • When prompts are modified in any way.

  • When content processing settings on catalog are changed, such as the background remover version.

  • When new reviews are added to products.

How can I reduce my credit usage?

  • When you change and publish a template it will cause channels that use this template to re-render the image_link's for all products. This may quickly consume a lot of credits if you change the template often or have a lot of products.

  • When changing a prompt it will cause new content to be written based the updated instructions. However this will not immediately be applied to all products, unless you ask Aimée to reprocess all products in your project. Using prompts and reprocessing a large project may consume a lot of credits.

  • Using the Fact-checking function in prompts uses more credits in order to verify the correctness of all text. This will significantly reduce any chance of incorrect text being produced, but will also consume more credits.
